With teaching experience spanning for nine years, Claire offers music lessons in flute and music theory for beginners to amateur musicians. Claire is a member of the Queensland Flute Guild and has taken students up to grade 5 flute examinations in the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB).

Due to her music therapy background, Claire follows a student centred method and incorporates theory, aural and history into flute lessons according to student desires. Claire also follows closely with the AMEB syllabus, however students are not expected to complete exams. Performance opportunities will be organised by Claire to enhance performance experience. Claire also encourages students to learn favourite songs or tunes by ear and incorporates improvisation into lessons if desired.
